Tammy Hauge | She/Her

Director

As the Director for The Hub: Federal Way Higher Education Center, Tammy is excited to play a role in opening doors for students looking to better themselves. Prior to joining Highline, she worked for 10 years at Green River College, serving as the Program Manager for their Intensive English Program, and before that, worked at the University of Washington in the Registration and Transcript Office. Inspired by the helpers who facilitated her own educational journey as a non-traditional student, Tammy has sought out positions where she can empower students and pay it forward. Her experience includes student services, faculty support, and orientation planning.

Tammy earned her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from University of Washington in Seattle, having transferred from a local community college and coming through the K-12 ranks as a FWPS scholar.  When she’s not utilizing her logistical finesse to help The Hub run smoothly, Tammy is into great conversation, music, fantastical scary stories, her husband, children, pets, and iced coffee.  And no, not in that order.

Jenée Stanfield | She/Her

Program Specialist, Entry and Support

Jenée has worked in various roles in education including at Kaplan International English, Green River College, and Highline College. It was while working as a student employee at Highline College that she realized her passion for helping students fulfill their academic dreams. She’s thrilled for the opportunity to serve the Federal Way community through this partnership with Highline College, University of Washington Tacoma, Federal Way Public Schools, and the City of Federal Way.

Jenée earned an associate of arts from Highline College, a bachelor of arts in English at Seattle Pacific University, and a master of fine arts in Creative Writing from Pacific Lutheran University. She enjoys various creative pursuits such as writing, sewing, and macramé. She also loves movies, video games, and reading a good book.

Fuifui Ah Kuoi | She/Her

Program Coordinator

Fuifui attended Highline College and University of Washington Tacoma over the course of 6 years. She received her Associate of Arts Degree in Diversity and Globalism, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Ethnic Gender and Labor Studies. During her years as a student in both institutions, she was also a student employee for programs such as AANAPISI and The Center for Equity and Inclusion. As a student mentor, tutor, and student program coordinator, she saw the importance of empowering students to succeed through support, mentorship, and involvement.

Fuifui’s passion originates from her experiences being an immigrant, first generation, low-income, Pacific Islander student and the struggles she faced navigating the education system. She is Samoan and part Chinese. She enjoys spending time with her family, eating out with friends, and watching any good action movie.
